After breakfast we embark on our journey to the Middle Atlas, we arrive first to the city of Ifrane, which offers us an unusual urban panorama with its houses of high chimneys and a gable roof. It seems that we are in the Swiss Alps. We will continue across these beautiful mountains through forests of giant cedars that grow from 1,300 meters of altitude. The Barbary monkeys live here; very similar to those of the rock of Gibraltar., We leave behind the mountains of the High Atlas and drive south; we will arrive in Errachidia, where the first large groves of palm trees of the trip appear. These oases of greenery create an ideal microclimate for the cultivation of all types of fruit trees and vegetables. Continuing on our route, we arrived in Erfoud, economic capital of the region of the Tafilalet, also known as the "Mesopotamia in Morocco", which in other times was very opulent thanks to agriculture and the control they had on the caravans of gold that came from Timbuktu. From here the asphalt disappears and Saharan tracks bring us to the adobe village of Merzouga. From here we go by camel to the camp  "as used the nomads of the desert and enjoy a magical night under a sea of stars. Dinner and overnight at the Desert Camp.

      5. 01Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley - Ouarzazate

Breakfast and departure, passing through the village of Rissani; formerly known as Sijilmassa, this city was famous for its dates, the roses and the fruit of their orchards but also it was for the gold and the ebony, since the caravans that went to the south and to Egypt used that route. We will visit the magnificent scenery, rugged and lonely, sometimes abrupt, with numerous fortresses made of simple materials, which were erected in the past by Berber tribal leaders and that evoke memories of the countless battles for the domain of these trade routes. We continue our trip by a semi desert landscape until the oasis of Tinghir, possibly one of the most beautiful places in Morocco. Upriver in the Todra Valley, we will arrive at its impressive gorges of more than 300m of height. After a brief visit of the villages we will take the route of the 1000 Kasbahs to reach Ouarzazate; one of the most important cities of the Moroccan South, and known for its intense cinematographic activity, countless movies like Gladiator, Troy, The Mummy, as well as the popular series Game of Thrones as well as many others have been filmed in this area. Visit of the Kasbah of Taourirt. Dinner and lodging in HOTEL OSCAR.

Later we arrived at the Kasbah of Telouet by one of the most beautiful tracks of Morocco; the former Palace of the Pacha Glaoui of Marrakech. We continue toward Marrakech; the Red Pearl of the South of Morocco. To do this we cross the majestic mountains of the High Atlas and the pass of Tizi n'Tichka, to where shepherds and sedentary farmers come every year in spring to begin the transhumance. This pass is the highest highway throughout Morocco and is 2260 meters of altitude. Accommodation in the Hotel Farah Golden Tulip in Marrakech.

      7. 03Marrakech - Marrakech

After breakfast, we will leave to make the guided visit of Marrakesh. Stories are told that it was first inhabited by a tribe from the other side of the Atlas, with large stocks of dates and from the discarded stones was born a big palm grove. Marrakech is called "the red city", because of the color of its walls and is filled with gardens, watered by underground wells (khettaras), which were built by the Almoravids and Saharan nomads in the 11th century. It was in the XII century that it reached its maximum architectural and cultural splendor. The Menara, the Kasbah, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, the Majorelle Gardens, and souks, are some of the unavoidable visits. A unique experience is strolling through the square "Djemaa El Fna", where the whole life and activity of the city is concentrated: dancers, narrators of stories, jugglers, artisans, merchants and snake charmers. Dinner and lodging in the HOTEL Farah Golden Tulip.
